Funny! LOL! Get over it.

“The only way to comprehend what mathematicians mean by Infinity is to contemplate the extent of baboon board hypocrisy.” — Voltaire (if he were alive today)

There is only one real consistent set of features within the sheltered workshop that is freefromthoughtblogs – and they are hypocrisy, double standards, demands for exceptionalist considerations and the right to be offended at anything at the drop of a hat. Beyond that, everything is a variable dictated by whatever tantrum is being thrown.

So there was very little surprise to be found in this article passed down the chain eventually finding me –

“Priors”

November 18, 2011 at 2:53 am physioprof

Is there any fucken d00d on earth who has ever used the word “prior” as a noun who doesn’t deserve a massive punch right in the motherfucken dicke? (more…)

Ophelia Benson protests the evils of censorship

This is not the official follow-on to the previous article, just an intermission prompted by some new superhuman idiocy from the Talking Prune. Call it the straw that broke the camels back for today. Of all of the alpha-baboons that barricade themselves within the Crisis Factory, the one that stands out from all the rest in terms of repetitive gibberish and sheer intellectual incoherence is the Talking Prune, Ophelia Benson.

Really, it takes a special breed of imbecile to criticise the epistemic relativism1 of various irrational belief systems, and then, in the same blog, post articles such as A man generally cannot know – and then expect to be taken seriously. And to compound the dumbness, a blog who’s byline is “fighting fashionable nonsense”. Yet Ophelia does this kind of thing day in, day out and does so with a straight face. (more…)

Ophelia Benson goes bicycle riding in Amsterdam

Let’s learn a new word today. This is for the benefit of the baboons. The rest of you folks probably know this word already, and did so from junior high school because you paid attention to words for their actual meaning, and not for their emotional trigger value –

em·pir·i·cal

adjective

1. derived from or guided by experience or experiment.
2. depending upon experience or observation alone, without using scientific method or theory, especially as in medicine.
3. provable or verifiable by experience or experiment.

.

i.e. basing stuff on observable reality free of any cognitive biases. So let’s take THAT comment that has terrorised Ophelia to the point I am amazed she hasn’t sent me a laundry bill, and demystify it. Here it is in its raw form, and traced directly back to its source (the details that none of the baboons are interested in), comment #3396 at the slimepit (as the baboon’s like to call it) – (more…)

Ophelia Benson as Hercule Poirot.

My the baboons have been busy.

My indifference is profound.

Hot on the heels of the latest batch of threats, there is a new insane debate here which I can only stomach a snippet at a time, and certainly refuse to read all of –

Fat, ugly, desperate or a bitch who deserves to be slapped, hit or gang-raped

Which, of course, instantly has to implicate me. Again, it’s overloaded with the usual accusations of rape, assault, abuse and the whole shebang of the usual substance-free tar-n-feathering the baboon board now seems to specialise in to the exclusion of all other activities. It’s the new town square I’m being pilloried in. They also babble much about having some pile of “sooper secret information” that the Talking Prune has apparently found and are continuing some ludicrous “ethical” debate1 about “outing” and “reporting”. It’s all in there apparently, for those that can stomach it.

So lets imagine they proceed on the assumption I am not Franc and that this cloak-and-dagger is pants shittingly terrifying – (more…)

Which one’s MacKinnon?

Oh how cute – one of the “I really really hate Rebecca Watson” crowd has made a fake Twitter account in order to do a lot of stupid self-implicating tweets as if by Rebecca. Oh haha that’s so funny – what’s next, emptying a pail of garbage in her bed? Locking a skunk in her bathroom? Putting a bomb under her car?

— Our Ophelia, Brevity is the soul of wit

You have to love it. “Freethought”blogs in action. Continuing a proud tradition of cherry-picking and confirmation bias as evidence for truth, Ophelia has blundered onto another nugget of nothing and seizes on it, without any hesitation or any inclination to research it, and immediately exploits it to full strategic advantage. And excess, by conflating criticism of poor innocent Becky Watson with car bombing while she’s at it. No slander is too vile.

Quite unlike those horrid assholes at ERV that she despises with her whole vagina – who similarly saw this item and dismissed it as juvenile, copycat 4channery – Ophelia immediately grasps it uncritically with both fists and declares it evidence because it tells her what she wants to hear – that her suspicions are valid and her assumptions, as always, are right.
