Demonisation of the other is as old a human pursuit as exchanging sex for personal advantage and the quest for mind altering chemicals. Common motivators are personal power plays, petty revenge or the common malice of the Queen bee high school girl. The unacknowledged motivator however is to accentuate the alleged shortcomings of the other, which almost always are trivial in comparison to the character failures of the finger pointer, and thus distract from where the real rot lies.

Zwan’s anti-Justin Vacula petition is a prime example. As discussed previously, this is a case of a pretty worthless exhibit of humanity lacking both the skill and intellect to contribute anything meaningful to life exercising jealous spite to skewer someone that does. Funny how appropriate images tend to find you

Another day, another new low from freefromthoughtblogs. It’s become a race to the bottom to see who can be the viler piece of shit. Sulky Amy (who kicks ass on a daily basis) made a superhuman effort, firstly with her crocodile tears at this years TAM, followed by her spurious DMCA takedown party (copies of notices). But now, Stefanny Zwan is going for gold by launching a petition against a fellow community member, a person that actually does stuff other than whine and wallow in self pity1, Justin Vacula –

Secular Coalition for America: Remove Justin Vacula from a leadership position in the PA chapter of SCA

(On the off chance that change.org actually does take down petitions that serve no purpose other than to defame, a mirror of the petition can be seen here)

The immediate absurdity is, of course, how Zwan, or any baboon blogger (let alone any of the minions of subnormals that constitute their readership), could ever declare anyone as being “unfit for any leadership position” – a sentiment parroted ad nauseam in the comment section, as per patented FfTB synchronised individuality – the absurdity being the implication that one of their own could somehow be more “worthy”. AtheismPlus – synchronised individuality

This is incredibly amusing.

Some weeks ago, the Naked Emperor, coming down with a case of gretachristinitis, trumpeted the addition a co-dependentblogger to the original baboon board – one Chris Clarke who is, apparently, “a phenomenal writer, a true progressive, and a committed environmentalist” – but regardless, Myers’ private little North Korea has been chugging along, business as usual. As a follow-up to Myers’ most recent outburst of demagogue tripe, reader Quawonk deposited this latest dung ball in a comment here –

“I do get how uncomfortable it can be to have data accumulate against a proposition which you desperately wanted to be true.”

Gobsmacking as usual. This is not a sudden epiphany of personal revulsion, but just another shallow dig at horrible MRAs – the socially acceptable Jewish substitute for the freefromthoughtblogs Sturmabteilung. Either completely devoid of self-awareness, or conscious of the hypocrisy and simply not caring – end result is still the same. “pssst, franc did it…”

Baboons are so giving. Within a day of the Survival Guide post, they have barfed up some perfect examples of exactly how vile they can be when they gather in their echo chamber and start their paranoid whispers about how cruel the world is to them.

The first is merely amusing. The fact that Reddit Atheism+, much like freefromthoughtblogs and skepchick, is being censored with the zeal of a North Korean newspaper is a given and not a surprise to anyone. What is a surprise though (at least to me) is that they found a way to disable the Reddit post “dislike” arrow. I guess clicking the “dislike” arrow on what someone says is a coat of paint away from violent rape at knife point – if you listen to Marcotte and Skeptifem enough it is anyway. So they removed it.

There is a special added bonus with this to boot – now, r/atheism+ can really state that EVERYONE agrees with what they say, and technically, they will be telling the truth. Who says the Naked Emperor can’t teach new tricks? This style of lie-that-isn’t-really-a-lie is his main area of expertise. (more…)

Preliminary Considerations

If you are capturing data about, or wanting to engage with, any of these groups, it is important to abandon all optimism and basic goodwill you would afford to regular human beings in your day-to-day interactions. It is important to consider that many, though not all, of the people involved are –

  • habitual liars that modify reality to suit on a daily basis
  • subject to Myers’ Law – https://greylining.com/2011/12/01/myers-law/ – where, most simply put, anything you communicate will be misinterpreted and used against you by any means possible
  • vicious, amoral sociopaths that CAN and WILL seek to harm you, your family or your friends personally and professionally by any means available. They have no capacity for civilized response to either criticism or satire and this is usually the only way they know how to respond

In general, especially when you are dealing with PZ Myers or his inner circle directly, it is a good rule of thumb to imagine the worst possible consequences of your actions – and then expect twice that in return. (more…)

Stripping away the last flimsy disguise of what a noxious abomination freefromthoughtblogs actually is. This is entirely the baby of PZ Myers – he’s whipped his baboons into a blood lust frenzy much like Manson did his “family” at Spahn Ranch. The Naked One will, of course, deny any culpability, perched atop his empire’s throne. In pure legalese technical terms, his denials of this fact would probably hold ground – this is a master deceiver who’s every utterance is a lie, a smear or a manipulation after all. He lives and breathes falsehood – it is his business model. But this is only the latest personal attack he has incited from his subnormal FfTB horde – and it won’t be the last. Each time you think they’ve scraped the bottom of the barrel, they punch it out and lurch to some new excess. Sooner or later, someone will get hurt. And when that happens, Myers will be held accountable.

I am ashamed to be an atheist.

Paraphrasing Orwell in the light of Freethoughtblogs

Though many will deny it, there is no such thing as a person that does not get a smug satisfaction rush out of the simple act of saying “I told you so…”

Yes, I called new, new atheism, but it was well over a year ago. At my best estimate, I was sounding the warning bells as far back as 20081. It was only here, over the last year, that I have started pushing the point that the rabble that now hogs the public spaces of the godless have little, if nothing, in common with the in-your-face, out-of-the-closet new atheism pioneered by what has come to be known as the Four Horsemen – Dawkins, Dennet, Harris and the late, dearly missed Hitchens. Myers’ Law – In its simplest form Myers’ Law states a baboon has no capacity to either receive or transmit information without corrupting that information. In practical terms this equates to there being no realistic relation between what you communicate to a baboon and what that baboon actually hears. This communication loses even more of its original meaning in the event that baboon then communicates a response back to you. Further, when information enters the baboon echo chamber it loses all relation to reality altogether in a very short time via baboon to baboon retransmission. See cunt kick.

Any non-baboon that has ever attempted to participate in the 24×7 dung fights that constitute what passes for “discussion” on the baboon board knows intimately the feeling that they have walked into some kind of Twilight Zone where ordinary reality has ceased to carry any weight whatsoever. This sense of surreality is followed sequentially by amazement, then by a sense of denial that “this isn’t really happening”, then exasperation and finally overwhelming resignation and despair. My the baboons have been busy.

My indifference is profound.

Hot on the heels of the latest batch of threats, there is a new insane debate here which I can only stomach a snippet at a time, and certainly refuse to read all of –

Fat, ugly, desperate or a bitch who deserves to be slapped, hit or gang-raped

Which, of course, instantly has to implicate me. Again, it’s overloaded with the usual accusations of rape, assault, abuse and the whole shebang of the usual substance-free tar-n-feathering the baboon board now seems to specialise in to the exclusion of all other activities. It’s the new town square I’m being pilloried in. They also babble much about having some pile of “sooper secret information” that the Talking Prune has apparently found and are continuing some ludicrous “ethical” debate1 about “outing” and “reporting”. It’s all in there apparently, for those that can stomach it.

So lets imagine they proceed on the assumption I am not Franc and that this cloak-and-dagger is pants shittingly terrifying – (more…)
