Yes, Twatter says that with a straight face and a pure and good “conscience”.

I had a 10 year old account there from which I never posted anything obscene or which could ever be conceived as “threatening”, just rubbing people’s noses in their own doo-doo a la Diogenes, I had it canned in perpetuity by the Twatterazi cultural commissars.

I let it be for 6 months, then decided to dip my toe in the waters again. Pffft. This is what it took to gain a ban again –

The internet, from it’s tortuous Arpanet birth, was conceived, designed and engineered to be free and open. To quote one of the founding fathers –

Nice sentiment. Which the “free” market chose to piss all over. Everything since has been engineering to lasso, muzzle and beat into submission the original concept of citizen freedom. The result? We now live in a thought police gulag. Engineered by Zuckerberg and a new age phag called Jack Dorsey.

My crime above was most likely to use the word “retard”. This is the future these cunts invest in, desire and want – AI algorithms monitoring you. Natural language is now censored. You will speak like a machine or the machine will silence you. This is the future you imbeciles sleepwalked into.

Yes, if the “threats” are credible, people do go to jail

A British woman has been told to expect a jail sentence after being convicted of the misogynist trolling of a feminist campaigner, adding new fuel to the debate over freedom of speech on social networks.

In the case that prompted Twitter to introduce a ‘report abuse’ button, 23-year-old Isabella Sorley and 25-year-old John Nimmo both pleaded guilty to sending menacing messages via a public electronic communications network. Sorley, who has numerous previous convictions for being drunk and disorderly, has been told she faces jail, while Nimmo is likely to receive a non-custodial sentence.

The pair had, separately, targeted Caroline Criado-Perez, who last year successfully campaigned for novelist Jane Austen to appear on English banknotes. Sorley tweeted: “I’ve only just got out of prison and would happily do more time to see you berried!!” and ‘Rape?! I’d do a lot worse things than rape you!!” — [Forbes.com] (more…)

More useful than an entire identity studies department

The kind of activism undertaken when you “do something” about a problem by tweeting or posting links to Facebook, without any intent of ever actually doing something. Nothing more than a nonsense feelgood gesture so that one can say they “did something about” whatever trendycause they’re pretending to care about. Usually only lasts a week or two before the cause is completely forgotten (i.e. it stops being cool to forward / retweet on the subject).

EXAMPLE: “I forwarded a video about some unspeakable atrocities in a country I didn’t know existed until I watched the video. My hashtag activism is going to accomplish something!” – [UrbanDictionary]

There is a viral video splattered everywhere you look at the moment showing what is alleged to be live frog sushi. I won’t repost it – it is vile and if you want to see it, you can find it yourself in 5 seconds on google.

Some be-birkenstocked nitwit somewhere found it (or more likely, was pointed to it by some gleeful troll), and from there a ‘net wide viral shitstorm and outraged barfing party has, of course, ensued. Countless web pages, Tweets, Tumblrs and ‘tardbook posts have spontaneously erupted, all having zero corroborating evidence or citation and tending to only be full of links to vegan propaganda… And, of course, there is the obligatory change.org petition. Because, y’know, that changes things and stuff. Just sign it and you can sit back smugly satisfied that you have worked for your cause and begin fishing for the next bit of bait to be outraged about. Stripping away the last flimsy disguise of what a noxious abomination freefromthoughtblogs actually is. This is entirely the baby of PZ Myers – he’s whipped his baboons into a blood lust frenzy much like Manson did his “family” at Spahn Ranch. The Naked One will, of course, deny any culpability, perched atop his empire’s throne. In pure legalese technical terms, his denials of this fact would probably hold ground – this is a master deceiver who’s every utterance is a lie, a smear or a manipulation after all. He lives and breathes falsehood – it is his business model. But this is only the latest personal attack he has incited from his subnormal FfTB horde – and it won’t be the last. Each time you think they’ve scraped the bottom of the barrel, they punch it out and lurch to some new excess. Sooner or later, someone will get hurt. And when that happens, Myers will be held accountable.

I am ashamed to be an atheist.

Rebecca Watson – godless skepticism’s answer to Michele Bachmann and Sarah Palin. There really is no polite way to say “dumb as a bag of ball bearings” is there?

Perhaps there may be an excuse to slip up like this in just a stream of consciousness conversation – but even then, you deserve to be joked about for it and have your nose rubbed in it for a good long time.

But this is not just a casual discussion. This is a planned video presentation. What a proud display of intellectual incoherence and sheer, butt stoopid ignorance. She doesn’t even care about what she says enough to support it with a quick peek in the cesspit of lies – she knows she is preaching to converts, many who are even dumber, and none of them ever check anything.

This, if you believe CFI and The Naked Emperor, is secularism’s golden girl. The role model to lead is into the future…
