It was interesting to hear you speak about the movement that has invaded the schools in Austrailia. I recall hearing something on the news here (US) about it sometime ago, But the details you gave were kind of frightening and made me think about what the fundies are attempting here.

It was interesting to hear you speak about local issues.
Your take on Julia Gillard was spot on, but now you have me even more worried about this Christian insurgence into politics (given how supportive of this corruption our supposed Atheist Prime Minister has been). My local state member is Tim Mander, who before becoming an MP in Queensland was head of Scripture Union Queensland. Scripture Union Queensland have milked millions from the government putting chaplains into schools. It is disgusting that rather than properly trained school counsellors to deal with issues, school children get religious dogma and shame thrust upon them by the deluded and the charlatans.
In that interview, once you got on a roll, you nailed issue after issue.
I’d love to hear you on John Safran’s radio show some time. Though they don’t seem to have many Atheists on (other than John himself).

Search this place for “access ministries” – you’ll find more info than you’ll ever want. I was monitoring this quite closely until Watson/Myers decided their mission in life was to destroy atheism. This is beyond simple political malfeasance – it is full blown political corruption and, quite likely, criminal fraud.
