Funny how appropriate images tend to find you

Another day, another new low from freefromthoughtblogs. It’s become a race to the bottom to see who can be the viler piece of shit. Sulky Amy (who kicks ass on a daily basis) made a superhuman effort, firstly with her crocodile tears at this years TAM, followed by her spurious DMCA takedown party (copies of notices). But now, Stefanny Zwan is going for gold by launching a petition against a fellow community member, a person that actually does stuff other than whine and wallow in self pity1, Justin Vacula –

The immediate absurdity is, of course, how Zwan, or any baboon blogger (let alone any of the minions of subnormals that constitute their readership), could ever declare anyone as being “unfit for any leadership position” – a sentiment parroted ad nauseam in the comment section, as per patented FfTB synchronised individuality – the absurdity being the implication that one of their own could somehow be more “worthy”.

The grander absurdity, whose malice dispels any comedic value, is Zwan’s actual intent here – which renders moot any objection that the FfTB / Skepchick / Atheism+ professional victim freakshow actively seeks to cause direct harm to individual’s private and professional lives. They do so with sickening regularity.

Justin Vacula does not need any character references to challenge this escalation in smear campaigning. His professional resume speaks for itself – rather than freeloading from the conference booze up circuit like Zwan and her human tapeworm cohorts at FfTB do, Vacula actually has notched up some real world achievements which have been deemed worthy enough to warrant the SCA appointment that Zwan is trying to sabotage.

On the other hand, what has Zwan ever actually done? Closest thing I can come up with is the Women in Secularism 2012 conference, where priority was placed on important stuff, like branding Richard Dawkins a patriarchal white supremacist with very serious universal approval – groundbreaking stuff which really helps propel the movement into the 21st century and surely an achievement that in itself makes Vacula’s efforts shrivel into irrelevance…

… not. Beyond that, Zwan’s list of real world achievements is a vacuum: slandering of others and howling about how unfair the planet is do not count as “achievements”, no matter how hoity-toity Zwan gets.

Zwan’s reality is pretty grim

When you view human actions in terms of that which is life affirming and life negating, there are no net positives from anything Zwan has ever done. In a Nietzschean sense, she is a pool of raw nihilism – one of the slave moralist underclass who seethe with resentment at the unspoken reality that they are incapable of creating anything of worth, so the only way they can ever attain anything approaching a level playing field is to drag others down. Her reality is ruled by tall poppy syndrome, or in Merkin speak, crabs in a bucket. Viewed in this context, Zwan’s bitterness – while not excusable – is perhaps understandable. She is one of life’s urinal mints – and that grim reality gnaws at her bowels…

No wonder she feels compelled to lash out at folks like Vacula that actually do things with their lives.

But there is value in this latest example of freefromthoughtblogs noxiousness, which ultimately is irrelevant to Vacula, and more than likely will only improve his standing. The value lies in this being a searingly clear example of exactly how low these folks, now advertising themselves as the Jacobin cult of Atheism+, are willing to stoop to attack people who choose to subject their destructive and divisive dogma to much needed scrutiny. They are running out of bridges to burn. This latest effort can only be seen as little more than the hubristic squawking of the irrelevant – Zwan, the narcissist and egomaniac, apparently feels she is entitled to dictate to SCA exactly who they may, or may not, hire.

I may be wrong, but most people do not take kindly to self-inflated pipsqueaks with delusions of grandeur divorced from reality dictating ultimatums as to how they should run their ship. But that’s a matter for SCA to deal with. On a much smaller scale, there are two simple things that the sane members of the godless community can do about this latest disgusting character assassination effort –

  • Drop a line to change.org

Change.org, in their own words “believe that building momentum for social change globally means empowering citizen activists locally”. I somehow don’t think that translates as “we like to empower you to more effectively conduct your petty personal vendettas”. You can let them know that their service is being abused here –

This petition contains unsubstantiated slanders against the named individual and implies he has been making personal attacks against females – when in fact the reverse is true. The subject has been targeted by a character defamation campaign from the creator of the petition which has incited others to post his, and his families, personal contact details publicly online as well as spurious DMCA take down notices to shutdown his personal websites. It is my understanding that change.org promotes social justice issues and not personal vendettas. At the very least, you should ask the petition creator to provide concrete evidence of the allegations. It is safe to say they won’t – as there aren’t any.

And while you’re at it, also express your support for the appointment of Edwina Rogers who has also been subjected to extensive personal smearing at FfTB. And if you’re feeling magnanimous, why don’t you donate a few dollars too?

Really, the time for fence-sitting and ignoring is over. The baboons at FfTB / Skepchick / Atheism+ continuously display themselves for what they are – amoral sociopaths who’s only interests lie in exploiting the community for the purposes of personal gain and vulgar revenge at imaginary slights. The excesses to which they will go to chase these pursuits are getting exponentially more outrageous and destructive. They actively seek to ruin people’s lives. Is this the kind of movement people find acceptable?

1 – granted, the pig does deserve your pity. In her case, it takes real effort to be uglier on the inside.

The smear campaign grows –

A quick google search will show that the baboons have been quite busy with the “let’s lynch Vacula” campaign. There are copycat blog entries replicating at the usual rate of when a target has been marked for character assassination. And in a sign that you can take the baboon out of freefromthoughtblogs, but you can’t take freefromthoughtblogs out of the baboon, FfTB deserter JT Eberhard, now at Patheos, has also chimed in –

– where he just mindlessly parrots the narrative that Zwan et al. have fabricated about Vacula. There is nothing really of note to report, other than JT’s FfTB habits have been transplanted intact to his new home: particularly in how he deals with dissent from established orthodoxy. Someone has been reading the survival guide for dealing with these slugs and offered this screencap on twitter of a comment they knew would vanish –

Notice how the justification for the comment purge has nothing actually to do with the comment content. This routine is pretty familiar now to most folks that have been observing this professional victim circus for any length of time – the “oh it was so horrible I just had to delete it” excuse. Tired, but reliable, and always used when baboons have no credible defence against the ridiculousness of their gibbering.
