I do admit, I find the defining of hoggle to be quite amusing. The amusement, though, is at those who think themselves so smug in coining the term.
Well, imagination is a wonderful thing.
To bad in this instance it becomes just one more fine example to add to the pile of an utter lack of critical thinking. Interesting to see a ‘meme’ be born. Freethought and scepticism, indeed!

It’s pretty pathetic that one prisoner is described as “Catholic.” Would PZ out someone out as a Jew or a Muslim? It’s not like Catholics reject evolution, which I assumed was his original pet peeve about religion.
I’m just relieved he’s no longer on Scienceblogs, since all he blogs about is his ideological hatred of those who disagree with his extremist dogma.
Science, indeed! He’s not persuading anyone to become an atheist. Rather, he was turning people off to science with his “opinions.”

I’d like to thank you, Franc, for exposing PZ for being the small-minded fool who take the easy road when it is presented to him. No longer does he have to engage you or sweat over any of your arguments. He can just point ignorantly to the post about Moser and pretend that that’s all he needs to dismiss you. Perhaps this is wishful thinking, but perhaps more people will take note of just how much of a coward this man is.
It’s really hard to believe that this is the same man who smashed the communion wafer or was hilariously expelled from a theater that was showing Expelled.
On the other hand, I’ve known for some time that PZ is a dismissive prick who wrings his hands over someone’s list of sexy scientists and thinks that the most important qualification for a presidential candidate looking to tackle our growing deficit is to have an informed understanding of the theory of evolution.
(Just for the record, I too find it embarrassing that Ron Paul doesn’t understand or accept the theory of evolution. I’m simply pointing out PZ’s warped priorities for presidential candidates in a time of economic crisis.)
