That the religious carrion fowl have arrived isn’t surprising. The manner of their arrival this time is. Pastor Daniel Nalliah of Catch the Fire Ministries has already made a name for himself, previously blaming the Black Saturday bushfires on liberalisation of abortion laws. This time though, he’s really clutching at straws –
Are the QLD floods the result of Kevin Rudd speaking against Israel?
Dear family & friends in Christ,
It is 11.50pm on Friday night the 7th of January. You might wonder what I am doing in my office at this time. Well we are all at the all night prayer meeting at the CTFM base. We started the prayer meeting at 7.30pm and would be finishing at 6am but this issue was so urgent, I thought I must get the info out to you as soon as possible, so that we can repent on behalf of Australia.
Around 8pm on Friday night the 7th of January we had a strong prompting by the Holy Spirit to repent on behalf of Australia. As we started doing so, I was reminded that every time America went against Israel, there was disaster in the land and this has been documented over the years.
Then at once I was reminded of Kevin Rudd speaking against Israel in Israel on 14th December 2010. It is very interesting that Kevin Rudd is from QLD. Is God trying to get our attention? Yes, I believe so.
Also the Lord said to us, “ I will humble Australia and bring her down on her knees. As she has taken pride in my blessing, and man has taken the glory and not given it to Me”.
Right now (12.30am – just after midnight) around 40 intercessors are crying out to the Lord and repenting on behalf of what Rudd has done against Israel. When I opened my email to write to you, I found the following email in my inbox and was amazed as to how God spoke to us about the same issue.
And what was this atrocity perpetrated against the Promised Land and the Chosen People?
Australia’s Rudd urged Israel to join the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty (NPT) and open all its nuclear facilities to UN inspectors
Seriously. There is, of course, textual justification –
Zechariah 12:3,9 “And in that day will I make Jerusalem a burdensome stone for all people; And it shall come to pass in that day, that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against Jerusalem”.
What can you do about clowns like these? We currently have a chorus of new, new atheist/humanist/skeptic brow-beaters sternly waving their fingers at us –
- Phil Plait and his ‘don’t be a dick’ sermonising
- CfI’s John Shook telling atheists they have to “understand god”
- and Greg “the Humanist Chaplain” Epstein telling us cartoons are disrespectful
OK gentlemen, how about you respond to Nalliah in your civilised and lofty manner and report back to us with your results?
The ugly truth is that there is such a thing as an intellectual differential threshold beyond which meaningful communication ceases to be possible. There is a point that is reached where calling someone an “imbecile” is no longer an insult or an ad hominem, but an independently verifiable fact. It is at these points where these idyllic philosophies of “niceness” cease to have either merit or substance.
There is no real way to interact with these vermin that will have any realisable positive result. These folks are an atavistic death cult. They are carrion that feed on misery. Reason will change nothing – if anything it will only cement these believers convictions. The only real tool that is available is ridicule. To whit, I have taken to responding to these clowns like Nalliah via their contact forms as follows –
Hello,
I would like to personally thank you for today’s comments on the Queensland floods. You do more to help those who sit on the fence and who’s faith in jesus is waivering to finally make the bold decision and abandon faith altogether than any horde of militant atheists could ever hope to do on their own. This is fantastic! Please keep up your good work. Us godless have absolutely no chance of ever making religion look more stupid, deranged and dangerous than you do sir! I thank you from the bottom of my bottom.
Yours in a random and uncaring universe,
Franc
It may not do much, but it will certainly do more than reason. There is a hope, albeit a slim one, that it may make them pause to consider that idiotic rhetoric may not necessarily be a good thing. Cheap reverse psychology I know. But it’s better than self-deception or naivety.

Is this Arsehole Daniel Nalliah connected with that Arsehole “Rev” Fred Phelps?
A good Atheist country like Australia needs that kind like it needs a hole in the head. Bundle him on to a plane with a one way only ticket to the United Christian States of America where he will be happy among his brain-poisoned fundaMENTAList Bible Thumping Christian Zombie friends.

Yes, very good. Give them what they crave – martyrdom and oppression. Silence them and their “truth”. No. No. No. Give the clowns a stage. Let the whole country witness them for what they really are – in all their glory.
Regulating and censoring nutjobs merely legitimises them to the sheep that follow them. This is a lesson the liberalised world refuses to learn. Let them speak, let them hang themselves with their own words.

Every time Australia loses at Cricket a disaster befalls our country sooner or later.
I suggest we sacrifice our losing cricket teams to appease the god of blood and vengeance !!!

He missed a trick there.. clearly the flash flood in Toowoomba was because of the High Court challenge to Chaplaincy being led by a Toowoomba resident!
Seriously though, he really needs to take heed of what Jesus actually had to say on situations like this.

Missed a trick? We have a Prime Minister who claims to be an atheist and he has yet to lay blame on that (I say “claims” because she’s more appropriately a passive apatheist who’s never seriously contemplated godlessness beyond the superficial label). No, I think chaplaincy is irrelevant to Nalliah because, unlike Jew bashing, it can’t be conveniently hooked into his deranged millenialist prophecies. There is method in the madness.

Nalliah will have to add Victoria to “God’s” list of hated places.
